We’re the Ramstad Family—a tight-knit crew of five, all born and raised in the small country town of Ramona, California. Rooted in the values passed down from our hardworking parents, we’ve built our lives around gratitude, resilience, and a deep respect for the land.
Our children are our greatest joy, and every day we strive to teach them how to live with intention—learning to work with the land, not just from it. We believe that self-sufficiency isn’t just a skill, it’s a way of life—one that’s more important than ever in today’s unpredictable world.
Homesteading, to us, isn’t about going backward—it’s about moving forward with purpose. The traditional image of a homestead is changing, and we believe it should. With the right knowledge, hands-on skills, and a strong work ethic, we know it’s possible not only to survive but to thrive—and to find real happiness at home.
